Redevelopment of Glenvale Convent, providing a renewed and enhanced facility for the Sisters of St Clare community.
The works comprised the partial demolition of the existing convent buildings, carefully managed to preserve key elements of the original structure. A significant element of the project included the refurbishment of the retained church and associated internal spaces, ensuring their continued use while respecting the building’s ecclesiastical heritage.
In addition, the scheme included the construction of a new extension and a range of ancillary works, integrating modern facilities with the existing fabric of the site. The completed development balances contemporary construction standards with the sensitive restoration of historic religious spaces.
