Leixlip Amenities Centre, Co. Kildare
Delivery of a new Community Sports Hub comprising the demolition of the existing single-storey changing rooms and entrance, and construction of a new two-storey 2,082 sqm extension.
New facilities include:
- A welcoming reception foyer with café
- A modern gym and studio rooms
- Enhanced changing and shower facilities
- Sauna and steam rooms
- Additional office and storage spaces
Completed in March 2026 within a seven-month contract period, the extension achieved a B building energy rating, reinforcing the project’s environmental credentials and delivering a modern, accessible and energy-efficient facility that will support health, wellbeing and community activity for years to come, while demonstrating Killowen Contracts’ expertise in the sports and leisure sector.
