Royal County Down Golf Club Ladies Clubhouse, Newcastle
New build state-of-the-art ladies’ clubhouse for Royal County Down (RCD) Golf Club, and demolition of the former facility, to provide female golfers with dedicated, high-quality facilities that enhance their overall club experience.
The new single-storey purpose-built clubhouse provides premium facilities including social lounges, lobby with display corridors, dedicated dining areas with kitchen and servery, modern accessible changing rooms, trolley storage, scoring station and comprehensive ancillary spaces.
Located within Murlough National Nature Reserve, a designated Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) and Special Area of Conservation (SAC), the finished clubhouse demonstrates superior craftsmanship in all aspects, from the precision of structural elements to the fine detail work in interior finishes. Premium materials have been expertly installed to create spaces that are both functional and elegant, reflecting the prestige expected in a modern golf club facility.
All construction activities were completed within eight months while ensuring the Golf Club remained fully operational throughout the project duration.
